McCormick Tribune Foundation The Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation was originally established as a charitable trust in 1955 upon the death of Colonel Robert R. McCormick, the longtime editor of the Chicago Tribune. The McCormick Tribune Foundation is one of the largest philanthropic organizations in America. The Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News work in partnership with the McCormick Tribune Foundation to raise and distribute funds throughout the Denver metro area for Post-News Charities and Post-News Season To Share. Through community programs, the foundation matches a portion of the funds raised by these entities. It also assists in the administration and shares in the expenses, making it possible to donate 100 percent of all money raised to people in need. The Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News are proud to be affiliated with the McCormick Tribune Foundation and greatly appreciate the continued partnership. |
