VOLUNTEER
We count on the arts and cultural institutions in our community to broaden our perspective and beautify our world. But they can’t do it alone. They need volunteers to help provide many of the experiences and educational opportunities they offer. Below are listings of several current and upcoming volunteer opportunities in the arts:

Cherry Creek Arts Festival
July 6-8

A team of almost 1,000 volunteers is needed to produce the
Cherry Creek Arts Festival, whose mission is to promote and
develop arts awareness and appreciation and to educate the
general public about the visual arts. With 20
different volunteer committees – ranging from
artist relations to culinary arts to finance –
there’s something for everyone. All volunteers
receive a CCAF t-shirt, food and beverages.

For more information or to volunteer, call
303-355-2787 ext. 207 or visit www.cherryarts.org.

Foothills Art Center

Foothills Art Center maintains a devoted
cadre of over 200 volunteers, with volunteer
opportunities open to all members of the
community. Volunteers staff the front
desk, assist with receptions, give tours and
docent training, handle mailings, maintain
the lovely gardens, and serve Foothills Art
Center in innumerable other ways.

For more information or to volunteer, call 303-279-3922 or
visitwww.foothillsartcenter.org.
The Wildlife Experience

Volunteers at The Wildlife Experience
help support the museum’s mission
of increasing understanding and
appreciation of wildlife. Volunteers
provide valuable assistance in a variety
of areas including administration,
education, guest services, exhibits and collections and special
events. In return, volunteers receive free museum admission;
discounts on food, memberships and merchandise; and
continuing education.
